Halo 4 : Forward Unto Dawn review.

The story of Forward Until Dawn, follows cadet Laski, during his training to be an officer.Laski appears to an important non player character in the up coming Halo4 game on Xbox 360.

I will try not to give any spoilers to the storyline of Halo4: Forward Unto Dawn.

The story starts with Laski as a officer aboard a United Nation Space Command (UNSC) starship, listening to a distress call and he has a flash back to the time when he was a cadet in training, just before the UNSC/Covenant war becomes public knowledge.
So far there have been three of the five episodes that have been uploaded onto Halo Waypoint and Youtube via the Machinima Prime channel, the series is produced by  Microsoft's Industries 343 studios, which also has developed the upcoming Halo4 Xbox 360 game.

Halo4: Forward Unto Dawn has a young cast which includes Anna  Popwell, from the Lion the Witch and Wardrobe,Prince Caspian.
I feel that the actors have done well, the first two episode being the slow build up, the third episode is when the story really takes off. If you been hooked like so many Halo fans can't wait till the next friday's episode. Not since re-imaged Battlestar Galactica have I eagerly waited for the following episode.

Industries 343 have invested a lot of time and money into the production of the series, they have created the feel of the Halo world in amazing detail.
For example the uniforms and armor, and the weapons that the actors wear, are very recognizable the Halo fans.

The big ticket items are so far been the Covenant  corvettes and  the UNSC, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) drop pods and a warthog 4x4 and the amazing detail gone into creating the UNSC Training Academy.

The each episode runs for 16 to 20 mins

Hopefully if the series is proven to be successful, Hollywood Studios companies may even give Halo the green light to be made into a feature film.
